ANSR
GamePlan
PocketStrategy
Strategy PDF
AfterRound
RogLog
EV(期待値)
SG(Strokes Gained)
Action Gate

To the one
whose brain
is chimp.
Raise the resolution of the GAME.
Raise the resolution of the GAME.
Finally, to all you golf-obsessed lunatics:

This app is built by a golf lunatic who lost almost everything. It's a tool to raise the resolution of golf as a brutal, absurd "GAME"—i.e. to get better. The chimp bit is a hook, but read on and you'll get it.

ANSR
SCROLL_
Degradation by Golf

Doesn't matter how smart you are at work. At the course, everyone's pretty much an idiot.

Hotshot bankers, elite salarymen—they can't spin a single line of the story called \"game\". They pour everything into a gamble that won't pay off and repeat regret after every shot.

1 / 11

Play chimp, think cringe, golf supremacy

Treating golf as an "adventure" changes how you calm the chimp.

Golf is an adult quest. The real thrill is the night before—staring at the map, building strategy—and after, logging the round and leveling up. It's an isekai adventure.

Overlook tomorrow's map. Where to take risk, where to lay up. Build the perfect plan with your own head, no nav—that sleepless time.

Free (weather: 2 credits on Premium)

PLAN — The night before the adventure:Simulate strategy

1.Simulate strategy

Run simulations on your own or existing courses at your level. Ideal the night before, imagining how you'll attack the course.

PLAN — The night before the adventure:Pick a course intuitively

2.Pick a course intuitively

Choose 9 or 18 holes. Select your course from the list and start building strategy right away.

4.Minimal view when you need focus

Turn advanced data off and focus only on shape and elevation. Strip the noise and face the course.

PLAN — The night before the adventure:Flexible map use

5.Flexible map use

Mapbox-powered maps. If a spot has no map, pull the course via Course Manager from an address.

Don't bring overprotective tech to the course. Carry one A4 "map" (yardage book) from the night before. Enjoy every absurd trap. Look like a pro.

5.Print anywhere, even at a convenience store

PDFs split for size. No printer at home? Print on the way or right before the round.

No log, no progress. Level up, then record. Same in RPGs and school trips. Or repeat the same mistakes.

Developer's rant

ANSR isn't an on-course nav. It's for the night before and the analysis after. On the course, put the phone away and enjoy the chaos. Then brag to your playing partners.

Real adventurers don't rely on digital on the course. A pirate with a smartphone? A hero with a phone? Cringe. A yardage book cover, a cryptic memo, and a short pencil—that's the cool adventurer.

ANSR isn't an overprotective on-course nav. It's the app to squeeze every bit of this 'adult adventure' (or field trip)—from the night-before plan to the post-round analysis. On the course, put the phone away. Enjoy the chaos. Then show off to your partners.

I know that feeling—new club, and the look from your partners on the round. Amateurs, even pros: wanting to "show off" your game, distance, score, gear, gadgets is 90% of it. The Goonies generation will get it—that joy when something pops out of that Asian kid (Data)'s belt. — by the author

FAQ

A.Good question. It's a compass for getting better at golf: it uses real maps and the "ANSR" data engine to make the fuzzy stuff—"GAME" and strategy—clearer. It's not a GPS nav or a score tracker. Even just playing your round and logging it at home changes how you think about the game. So it's not for total beginners. But if I'd had it when I started, it would've been my adventure log; golf would've felt more like an RPG.
A.The app supports both iOS and Android. Please check each app store listing for recommended OS versions.
A.No. I deliberately removed GPS and live logging—they get in the way of improvement. Like driving with nav on, your mental map fades. So I cut it. See (here's why). I don't want to get worse either.
A.Two things: a nod to Karsten Solheim and the putter "ANSER" (minus the E), and the idea of giving a fact-based "ANSWER" instead of swing porn or gear obsession. So: data over vibes.
A.EV is not Evangelion. It's your benchmark Expected Value for your score and distance. We don't force PGA Tour data on you—we use EV tables tuned to your current level. Built from Prof. Mark Broadie's research, ShotLink, and real amateur dispersion data I collected on the course, via meta-analysis. "EV by average score" is likely a world first. What numbers should you be shooting for your target level? This is the answer, brutally clear.
A.You set it at first; after a few committed rounds, the algorithm estimates your true level. Analyze and WITB get much more accurate with at least 3 rounds, ideally 10. Deeper reading may come later on YouTube or in person—TBD.
A.Download, PLAN trial, course creation, and WITB are free. Weather API costs mean no external wind for free users. Free data isn't stored in the cloud. Premium unlocks everything and keeps your adventure log forever. "Daydreaming is free; serious improvement is paid."
A.Monthly: ¥980 (intro: ¥480 for first 3 months). Annual: ¥5,780. Premium gives 50 credits/month (weather: 2, yardage book PDF: 10). You can buy more. These will also work with the planned "ANSR_Brain" AI.
A.Google's ToS strictly limits taking map data offline or repurposing it. I switched to Mapbox for offline use. Mapbox + ANSR lets you build and export your strategy map as PDF legally.
A.We're in the clear. The app is for personal use. The BIRDIE Act targets commercial use. You add your own notes on Mapbox-licensed maps. Redistribution or commercial use of app output is prohibited.
A.Premium lets you export your map as a yardage-style PDF. PDFs are for the creating user's personal use only. No sharing, posting, or commercial use.
A.Yes. We follow Rule 4.3a. Details are summarized there. Rule 4.3 and G-5, G-11 exist so the player, not a machine, makes the final decision.
